Throw the Texas Dog a Bone

Human bones in a furnace. An animal shelter outside Austin. Retired detective Al Quinn gets the call.

He also gets Tanner, a dog two days from being put down.

The bones belong to more than one person. The FBI human-trafficking team crowds the case. A green detective needs training. The house that was supposed to be empty is full. A burglary ring starts threatening the people under his roof, and the dog too.

Al Quinn has a dark side. Somebody is about to meet it.
