A Tale of Two Jews: Nehemiah and Ezra

This beautifully illustrated picture book tells the Bible Story of Nehemiah, who led the rebuilding of the walls and gates of Jerusalem after the Jews returned from Babylonian exile. It also reveals the special role Ezra played in helping to turn the ruins of their lives into something beautiful. These two Jewish icons played key roles in the history of the sacred city, known as "the city where God dwells."
